Monkey Point
This point gives a wonderful view of the far-away plains of Chandigarh and is the highest point in Kasauli. There is a small temple devoted to Lord Hanuman on the top of the hill. It’s said that Lord Hanuman, prior to jumping on the Sanjivani Hill to collect the herb to cure Lord Laxman, landed on this place.
Sai Baba Temple
This temple is devoted to Sri Sai Baba and was built by Sai Baba Trust in 1989. Many tourists visit this temple to see the burning flame which signifies the heavenly power of Sai Baba.
Christ Church
This is one of the oldest and finest churches in Kasauli. This church which was founded in 1844 is of the Anglican structure. This church is now one of the spiritual places in the town and is managed by the bishopric of Amritsar.
Lawrence and Pinegrove School
Lawrence school was established in 1847 comprising of 14 boys and girls and lies on the Shimla hills. Pinegrove School is another school which is purely a residential co-educational institution which was established in the year 1991.
Dagshai
It lies at a height of about 6000 ft above sea level and is one of the oldest British Cantonments which lies at the foothills of the Shivalik Hills. This place has a picturesque beauty and is one of the famous attractions of Kasauli.
Dharampur
Dharampur is the nearest railhead from where the toy train goes to Kalka and Shimla and lays 12 kms away from Kasauli. Dharampur has a variety of eateries to choose from i.e. McDonalds, Giani Dhaba, Golfer’s Inn, Modern Dhaba, Hot Millions and Colonels Joint. It ranks amongst the best hospitals in India for the treatment of tuberculosis.
Sabathu
Sabathu is a Gurkha Regiment training centre of the western command and is situated 29 kms from Kasauli. This little cantonment town is located at an altitude of 1438 meters and comprises a Gurkha fort built in the early years of the 19th Century. There is diversion road which leads to Sabathu from Dharampur, around 15 kms from Dharampur.
Timber Trail
Timer Trail is a perfect holiday destination for families which is located on the lap of Shivalik range on top of two adjoining hills that are joined together with a cable car.
Bon Monastery
Bon Monastery is said to be the second oldest monastery in the world after the one present in Tibet. It’s located 54 kms from Kasauli.
Arki
Arki can well be described as clean, neat and calm and is 24 kms from Kasauli.
